Ranger’s first home was with a military family. As such, his family affectionally referred to him as their “battle buddy,” not unlike a combat partner assigned to assist a fellow soldier in the United States Army. Ranger’s unconditional loyalty resounded well with the “battle buddy” archetype as his affinity for his family members was very clear to see.

It was not until a few years into Ranger’s life that his family befriended the parents of a young girl living with autism. Ranger immediately took to the girl, who similarly bonded with our canine namesake.

Ranger’s family was touched to see how well the pair meshed. Though it was a challenging decision, his family ultimately felt compelled to gift Ranger to the young girl. Because Ranger was already such a great “battle buddy” to them, his family knew he would be the perfect addition to this little girl’s world, helping her cope with her own everyday battles while living with autism.

To honor Ranger and his commendable, loyal spirit, we have since designated him as our company mascot. He serves as our inspiration in both business and life, reminding us to tackle life’s inevitable battles with his special loyalty and service in mind.
